HSEQ Lead

As the HSEQ Lead, you will be a key member of the Offshore Wind Management team. You will be responsible for the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality measures. Your main focus will be on  creating a new HSEQ approach for the wind team that promotes and establishes an HSEQ culture everyone in the business can identify with. With your dedication and energy, you will bring a fresh perspective on HSEQ in the company and will be a key change agent on our journey to become the service partner of choice for the wind industry.

Areas of responsibility

Besides being the creator and ambassador of the HSEQ culture for the SES Wind business, you will:

  • Drive all aspects of HSEQ with your team and in cooperation with the wind management team
  • Establish and lead a team of HSE and quality managers
  • Lead in-house trainings with regards to HSEQ and thereby promote our HSEQ culture
  • Be responsible for:
    • Updating and upgrading our Integrated Management System and setting it up for the future
    • Establishing quality standards for our service delivery
    • Formulating HSEQ policies and procedures
    • Conducting HSEQ audits
    • Assisting our Head of Departments, Line Managers and Supervisor with HSEQ related matters
    • Defining HSEQ training requirements for our employees
    • Supporting the risk assessment process and advising on risk reduction measures  
    • Supporting our commercial and operational teams with delivering bids and projects
    • Ensuring all incidents, accidents, complaints and cases of ill health, and environmental incidents are fully recorded and investigated, including making recommendations to avoid recurrence
    • Liaising with Industry bodies, agencies and other organisations concerned with promoting best practice in the field of occupational health, safety, welfare and sustainability
    • Sustainability management for the wind division

 

The candidate

  • Digitally adept. We are on a digital journey so your focus must also be on how digital tools can support us in establishing a leading HSEQ culture
  • Proficient in English and at least one other European language

Ideally, you will have 5+ years of experience within the HSEQ field and are ready to take the next step in your career! If you have already had your first management experience or been part of a programme for future leaders (e.g. Junior Management programme), it is a plus.
